Mount Abu in Rajasthan under sub zero temperature

Jaipur, Feb 7(UNI) Mount Abu continued to reel under sub-zero temperature for the past few days with the mercury hovering three degrees below the freezing point (minus-3 Degree Celsius) at this only hill station in Rajasthan this morning.

Meanwhile, cold wave accompanied with dense fog, hail storm and light rains at a few places kept normal life paralysed.

The desert towns of Jaisalmer and Churu reeled under intensed cold recording minimum temperatures of 3 Degree Celsius and 3.5 Degree Celsius this morning.

Besides this, Bikaner and Jodhpur recorded minimum temperature of 5.4 Degree, Barmer 5.8 Degree Celsius and Jaipur recorded 8 Degree Celsius.

Hail storm and light rains in Bikaner and some other palces had further worsened the weather conditions.
