Aussie players keen to join ICl : Jones

Melbourne, Feb 7 (UNI) After Stuart Law, Michael Bevan and Ian Harvey, some more Australian players are intrested in joining the next edition of the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) Executive Board Director Dean Jones said today.

''The number is set to increase for this year's edition,'' Jones was quoted as saying in 'The Sydney Morning Herald'.

''There will be a couple of Australian players in there, yes.'' He, however, added that the ICL does not want players to break their contracts with their respective associations.

''But we are not here to ask players to break contracts with their organisations to play for us,'' he said.

The next edition of the ICL's Twenty20 tournament will start in October this year.

Sarkozy begged ex-wife to return - eight days before marrying Bruni

London, Feb 7 : French President Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly begged his ex-wife to come back to him just eight days before he wed Italian supermodel Carla Bruni. According to British newspaper The Sun, the 52-year old president sent his second wife Cecilia a text message stating that he would call off his nuptials to Bruni if she returned to him. Traditional music attracts foreigners to India

Bhopal, Feb 7, 2008: Attracted by Indian classical music, scores of foreigners are undertaking lessons to gain mastery in the traditional music form in central Bhopal city in India's Madhya Pradesh. The sounds of sitar- a stringed classical instrument accompanied by the renditions of 'ragas' or classical compositions are attracting more and more foreigners who come to 'Dhrupad Sansthan' to learn music in a traditional setting.
