Yeddyurappa wants all-party meet on terrorism

Gulbarga,Karnataka, Feb 6 (UNI) Concerned over increasing terrorist activities in Karnataka, Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today urged Governor Rameshwar Thakur to convene an all-party meeting to discuss the issue.

Addressing the press here, he also asked Mr Thakur to give top priority to check terror activities in the State.

Reiterating his demand for a White Paper on administration during the President's rule, he alleged development work had come to a 'standstill.' Expressing resentment over the Railway Ministry's 'step-motherly' attitude towards Karnataka, he said despite the government agreeing to contribute 50 per cent of cost for laying new lines, the Railways seemed disinterested in improving its infrastructure in the State.

The BJP would oppose the nomination of Ms Rajyalakshmi of Andhra Pradesh as a syndicate member of Karnataka Mahila University coming up in Bijapur.
