Yeddyurappa demands all party meet to discuss terrororism

Gulbarga, Feb 6 (UNI) Expressing concern over the increasing terrorist activities in Karnataka, Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today urged Governor Rameshwar Thakur to convene an all party meeting to discuss the issue.

Addressing a press conference here, he also demanded the Governor to accord top priority to check the terrorist activities in the state.

Reiterating his demand on release of a white paper on the administration during the President's rule, he alleged that the development work had come to a 'standstill'.

Expressing resentment over the Railway Ministry's 'step motherly' attitude towards Karnataka, he said despite the state government agreeing to contribute 50 per cent of cost for laying new lines in the state, the railways seemed disinterested in improving the railway infrastructure in the state.

He said his party would oppose the nomination of Ms Rajyalakshmi of Andhra Pradesh as a Syndicate member for Karnataka Mahila University, which is coming up in Bijapur.
