Minor among 6 killed in UP road mishap

Bijnore, Feb 6 (UNI) At least six people, including a minor and four girls, were killed and 10 others severely injured when a speeding car collided head-on with a truck near Chandpur here today.

The accident occurred on Chandpur-Dhanora road when the driver of the car, carrying 15 people, lost control over the wheels and it collided with a truck near Bhavanpur village, police said.

The car was on its way to Deoband from Sambhal.

The injured were admitted to the hospital, where the condition of six of them was stated to be critical, police added.

Investigation was on.
