Bihar communities' association asks Centre to intervene in Mah

Jaipur, Feb 6 (UNI) Demanding the immediate arrest of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray for allegedly inciting violence in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra, the Uttar Pradesh Bihar Communities' Joint Association today urged the Centre to intervene to stop attrocities against north Indians in in the state.

Addressing a press conference here, association's general secretary Ashok Dubey expressed anguish over the Maharastra Government's ''silence and inaction'' in this connection and said the Centre should intervene immediately to provide security to non-Maharastrians living in Mumbai and elsewhere in the state.

He said sedition case should be filed against Mr Thackeray.

Meanwhile, the Youth Congress, Rajasthan also condemned the violent incidents and said it would hold a peace march here tomorrow to protest.
