Armed criminals kill three members of a family

Madhubani, Feb 06 (UNI) An armed criminal gang killed three members of a family, including two women, and seriously injured another at Durgapatti in the district in the wee hours today.

Police said the gang attacked Ganga Ram's house under Harlakhi Police Station and killed him, his wife and daughter by slitting their throats. They also severely injured his son.

The injured victim was rushed to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.

Meanwhile, police had reached the spot sources said, adding raids were on to nab the criminals.

NABARD sanctions Rs 144.33 crore for Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 6 (UNI) The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 144.33 crore to Kerala for rural infrastructure projects. According to a release here today, the Chamravattom regulator cum bridge multipurpose project in Malappuram district would get Rs 95.12 crore. The other projects included 13 rural roads and three bridges each in Alappuzha, Idukki, Palakkad, Kollam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Ernakulam and Kannur districts. An amount of Rs 35.44.....
