BangaloreOne to offer bus ticketing service

Feb 4, 2008: BangaloreOne has tied up with www.redBus.in to offer “Private Bus ticketing service" to the citizens of Karnataka. Citizens can now just walk-in to any BangaloreOne center and book bus tickets for the following bus operators:

VRL Travels, Raj National Express, Praveen Travels, Kesineni Travels, Kamat Tourist, National Travels, ABT X Travels, Kallada Travels, Diwakar Travels, Sugama Tourist, SKS Travels, Golden Travels, Shama Transport, Ambica Travels, Conti Travels, Indira Travels, KRMS Travels, SS Travels, Sabharwal Transports, Saleem Travels and KGN Travels.

Over 700 unique routes will be available to citizens through these 21 bus operators. BangaloreOne executives will assist citizens in booking these tickets. Citizens have to just give source, destination and date of journey to BangaloreOne and the system will return various options in terms of operators, fares and types of bus.

The service is available 24 X 7 X 365. Citizens have the option to either pay through cash/credit or debit cards (1.75% charges are applicable for credit/debit cards). However cash is accepted only between 6.00 AM to 8.00 PM.

This service is expected to largely benefit the citizens as they can now book tickets for onward, return journey and connecting buses, all at the same time. Currently tickets of 21 bus operators are available at BangaloreOne centers and shortly many more operators will be added.

The service is rendered to citizens without any service charge over and above the fares prescribed by redBus. So, citizens can rest assured of getting standard fares at all times.
