Gonda, Feb 3: Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui has ordered a survey in the districts of Devipatan division for rain water conservation scheme.
'' It is sad to note that at times some areas of the state is affected by flood, while at other times the people face drinking water crisis,'' Mr Siddiqui said during a review meet here yesterday.
We are committed to correct this disequilibrium, he added.
''A survey should be conducted in Gonda, Behraich, Sravasti and Balrampur districts, which are the most affected during rainy season and the report submitted at the earliest, so that the water conservation scheme could be planned,'' the UP irrigation minister underlined.
He further assured that shortage of fund would not be a problem in the scheme.
