Aspiring actress lodges rape complaint

Rajkot, Feb 3 (UNI) A 21-year-old aspiring actress has filed a complaint of rape against a person, Babu Bharwad, who claims to be a film producer.

The woman in her complaint with the Morbi police, has stated that Bharwad had brought her to Morbi six months ago from Udaipur, promising to cast her in a Hindi album. However, he had physically abused and raped her, the woman has said while alleging that Bharwad had even threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the matter to the police.
