40 experts to attend international workshop

Kozhikode, Feb 3 (UNI) More than 40 experts from 15 countries will participate in an international workshop on palliative care beginning at Manjeri in Malappuram district of Kerala on February 5.

The two-day event, organised by Kerala-based Neighbourhood Network in Palliative Care in association with African Palliative Care Assocaition, among others, would be inaugurated by World Wide Palliative Care Alliance President David Praill, organisers told reporters here yesterday.

Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed, Kerala Local Self Governance Minister Paloli Mohammedkutty and Health Minister P K Sreemathy, among others, would address the workshop, they added.

Some of the nations confirmed participation were from Canada, the U K, US, Bangladesh, South Africa, Zambia, Ethiopia and Baharain, they added UNI PCH ROY ADB RL ND-942

Jay Stacy - Aussie's hockey team's power house
