2 arrested in connection with attack on Dera chief

Patiala Feb 3 (UNI) Two persons of Khalistan Commando Force (Shutrana Group) were arrested during a joint operation carried out by the Haryana Police and Punjab Police today.

Police sources said here today that two persons of this group have been identified as Karnail Singh and Mohan Singh and were arrested from Samana today SSP Patiala S K Asthana has said that they did not know anything about the operation and Punjab Police simply assisting the Haryana Police. The operation was launched late last night following the bomb explosions on convoy of Dera Sacha Sauda head Baba Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh near Nilokheri in Karnal district last evening.

Hafed launches commercial warehousing scheme for farmers in Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 3 (UNI) HAFED has launched a Commercial Warehousing Scheme to provide vacant covered space to member farmers and traders under commercial warehousing scheme. Under the scheme the farmers would be given space on concessional rates to store their produce, Agriculture Minister H S Chatha stated here today. He said that HAFED had floated a scheme for storage the wheat, paddy and rice on concessional storage charges and the interest on the loan amount.....
