15 injured in bus accident in Manipur

Imphal, Feb 3: At least 15 people, including seven women, were injured when a bus skidded and fell into the Nambul river at Keishampat in Imphal today.

Police said the bus was travelling from Bishenpur district to Imphal when it fell into the river.

The injured were presently undergoing treatment at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal and most of them were out of danger, police said.

The local people nearby immediately rescued the passengers and rushed them to hospital, police added.
