Women throws children into well in TN village

Jayankondam, Feb 02 (UNI) A 28-year-old woman threw her two children, aged five and three, into an irrigation well and attempted to allegedly commit suicide by jumping into it along with another two-year-old child at Ulliakudi village near today.

Police said Kalaiselvi threw her children Kaviyarasi(5) and Ramki (3) into the well following domestic quarrel. However, passers-by saved the woman when she tried to leap into the well with another child.

The bodies of the two children, fished out of the water were sent to the Government hospital at Ariyalur for post-mortem.
