Surat, Feb 2 (UNI) Three people were killed while excavating a well near Khandvel in Navsari, here today.
The three persons, identified as Soma Patel (22), Ramdev Patel (23) and Dinesh Patel (19), were digging the well in a private farm. When the well was dug upto 30 feet, one of the workers tried to get out of the well, due to which the mud slid and the three workers were buried under it, police said.
One of them was a local worker and the other two belonged to Saurashtra.
