Bauxite worth Rs 41 lakh stolen from Govt mines

Jamnagar, Feb 2 (UNI) Jamnagar police registered a case of theft of bauxite worth Rs 41 lakh here today.

The district's Geology Department Royalty Inspector Pravin Mangaldas Sharma has registered a complaint against unknown persons for mining illegally, Kalyanpur police station sources said.

In his complaint, Mr Sharma has stated that a theft of around 12,500 tonnes of bauxite worth approximately Rs 41,16,30 occurred at the government mines located in the district.
