Police should produce Maoist leader before court: Gaddar

Hyderabad, Jan 27: The Revolutionary Telugu Balladeer and local Naxal activist Gaddar today demanded the police to produce the arrested State CPI (Maoist) Secretary Sambashivudu before court immediately. Speaking to reporters here, Mr Gaddar demanded that the police, who had arrested the Naxal leader in Vizianagaram agency area, should produce him before any court in the State.

State DGP S S P Yadav denied to meet the family members, including the parents, of Sambasivudu, who came to his house to submit a memorandum. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission had asked the DGP to submit a report on the Naxal leader's arrest, based on the petition filed by his parents.
