Mary-Kate Olsen will not be questioned over Heath Ledger's death

London, Jan 27 : Actress Mary-Kate Olsen will not be questioned by police in Heath Ledger's death case, a police spokesman has confirmed.

A New York Police Department spokesperson said that officials have no plans to speak to Mary-Kate about the circumstances surrounding the actor's demise.

Olsen was the first person to be called by Diana Wolozin, a masseuse, who found the lifeless body of the 'Brokeback Mountain' star.

However, the actress, instead of calling the ambulance, sent her bodyguards to Ledger's house.

It was reported that New York police is planning to talk to Olsen, but the cops ruled out the inquiry after speaking to Wolozin, reports the Telegraph.

Meanwhile, Ledger's body was moved from a New York funeral home, apparently in preparation for a flight to his hometown of Perth, where a private funeral is expected.

The arrangements "will continue to be kept private at the family's request", said his publicist, Mara Buxbaum.
