USINPAC delegation to visit Bangalore, Delhi

Mumbai, Dec 28: The US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) delegation, led by chairman Sanjay Puri, will arrive in Bangalore on January 2, for high-level business and political meetings.

Mr Puri said ''this is a singular opportunity for leaders in the Indian-American community to meet and dialogue with business and political leaders in India at the highest levels.'' He also praised India's committment to building and maintaining bridges with the diaspora. In Bangalore, the delegation will meet prominent business leaders including Dr Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson&MD, Biocon; Mr Narayana Murthy, Co-Chairman, Infosys Technologies; Mr Jerry Rao, Chairman, Mphasis; and Mr Ravi Venkatesan, Chairman, Microsoft (India), stated a release.

This will be the very first time a USINPAC delegation will be visiting Bangalore in recognition of the role the city has played in transforming India. The delegation will proceed to Delhi on January 7, the release added.

'India sought only 3 suspects, not 20'

Islamabad, Dec 5: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's Adviser on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik, has that India has only sought 3 terrorist suspects and not 20 as has been reported by the media.He also said that the list submitted by the Indian Government does not include the name of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, the head of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, which is being accused of masterminding last week's Mumbai terror attacks  that claimed nearly 200 lives and caused injuries to nearly.....
