Trishakti Electronics receives Rs 3.15 cr from China-based company

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) Kolkata-based Trishakti Electronics and Industries Ltd today said it has received Rs 3.15 crores from Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau, China for their contract with ONGC for carrying out 3D seismic Data acquisition services.

The above contract was terminated by ONGC as the final out of court settlement, the company said in a statement.

Trishakti Electronics, a crane hiring company provides cranes on hire in India and Asia and works for companies like ONGC, Reliance, Suzlon Energy, Oil India, India Oil Corporation etc.

Puducherry, Dec 28 (UNI) Indian Railways men and Chhattisgarh women bagged the third place in the 58th senior national basketball championship here, today. Railways men secured the third place, outplaying Uttarkhand 105-95. In the women's event, Chhattisgarh annexed the third position, edging out Tamil Nadu 67-59. Aussie tour on despite Benazir assassination: CA

Melbourne, Dec 28 (UNI) Cricket Australia (CA) has said that the Aussie tour of Pakistan next year is on despite the assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto which has sparked widespread unrest in the country. ''It's an appalling tragedy and we only hope that the civil situation in Pakistan can improve,'' CA spokesman Peter Young said. ''But it has no impact over the cricket from a touring point of view.''
