Misrepresentation threw Cong out at Gujarat husting

Barabanki, Dec 28 (UNI) Samajwadi Kranti Dal (SKD) supremo and disgruntled Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Beni Prasad Verma today said Congress' utter negligence led to Narendra Modi's victory in Gujarat.

Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Verma said Congress President Sonia Gandhi had been misled by her party members due to which party faced a debacle at the Gujarat hustings.

Terming the previous Mulayam Singh government as 'Ghotala Sarkar', he alleged the SP supremo would be the first Chief Minister and Defence minister to serve a jail term for corruption.
