Kumaraswamy to lead JD(S) in Assembly polls

Bangalore, Dec 28 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said he would lead the Janata Dal(Secular) in the coming elections the State Assembly.

Talking to mediapersons at the Wockhardt Hospital here, where he underwent an open heart surgery recently, he said, ''I would lead the party in the coming Assembly elections and ensure the JD(S) comes to power with a majority on its own.'' Mr Kumaraswamy said the party workers need not have any apprehension about his health since he had recovered fully and would actively involve in building the party in a month's time.

''There is no need to worry about my health, I am completely fit and party workers should gear up to fight the elections,'' he added.

Benazir buried at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh

ECIL has huge plans in healthcare sector: CMD

Tirupati, Dec 28 (UNI) The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has drawn up ambitious plans to introduce Digital Radiology System aimed at bringing cost-effective healthcare solutions to rural masses, Company Chairman and Managing Director K S Rajasekhara Rao said here today. CM assures Nandigram did not send wrong signals to industry
