Janardhan Reddy brought dead at hospital

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (UNI) Senior Congress Leader and Khairatabad MLA P Janardhan Reddy was declared brought dead at the hospital after he collapsed at a meeting venue here today.

The doctors of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), where Mr Reddy was admitted, told mediapersons that Mr Reddy's heart was not functioning when he was admitted to the hospital.

The Congress leader, who was a diabetic, also suffered from kidney and heart ailments.

He was brought to the hospital at 1100 hrs and the doctors declared his death at 1140 hrs.

Meanwhile, the body of the departed leader was shifted to his residence at Domalaguda in the city.

The funeral would be held tomorrow.

Mr Reddy collapsed at Jewel Gardens, where he had gone to attend a party meeting organised by Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee on the occasion of party foundation day.

Bharti Infratel sees $1 billion in international investment

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) Bharti Airtel Ltd today said leading International investors have agreed to invest one billion dollar in its wholly owned subsidiary company, Bharti Infratel.
