Injured by friend, girl dies in hospital

Jaunpur, Dec 28 (UNI) A 20 year-old woman who was allegedly injured by her beloved, succumbed to injuries last night in Varanasi hospital, police said today.

Mamta's beloved after critically wounding her and another person in Singramau area here on Wednesday evening, committed suicide.

The incident occurred in Firozpur village, where Ashvani Shukla (23) shot at his beloved Mamta of the same village.

Surya Narayan Mishra (50) also sustained bullet wounds, when he tried to intervene, police added.

Later, Ashvani shot himself.

The trio were rushed to hospital in a serious condition, where Ashvani succumbed to his injuries on arrival. Mishra died yesterday.

Mamta, who was sent to Varanasi hospital in critical condition also died late last night, sources informed.

Investigations were underway.

Bangalore, Dec 28 (UNI) Trade talks between India and Pakistan will be affected following assasination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto yesterday, Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh said today. Speaking to newspersons after releasing the new Arabica coffee plant variety 'Chandragiri' developed by the Coffee Board here, he said the trade talks, which were at a crucial stage, was to resume during February or March next year, but the assassination and uncertainty over holding of general elections.....

Wage Board members meet journalists, non-journalists
