Inflation dips to 3.45 pc

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) The Inflation rate for the week ended December 15 declined to 3.45 per cent as against 3.65 per cent last week.

The annual inflation rate was 5.73 per cent during the corresponding week of the previous year, an official statement said here today.

Bhutto's body flown to Sukkur for burial

Islamabad, Dec 28 (UNI) The body of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated yesterday is being taken to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh for burial at her ancestral graveyard alongside her father today. Her body was brought by C-130 flight to Sukkur Airport from where it was taken to Moenjodaro by helicopter. Her corpse was then shifted to an army helicopter and taken to Larkana. Tiruchirapalli, Dec 28 (UNI) The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities will organise a four-day exhibition, showcasing latest hearing-aid, calipers and artificial limbs, here from January four. Institute Director Neeradha Chandramohan told newspersons yesterday that the exhibition "Samarthya" would showcase various products manufactured by about 100 companies.
