No bullet, head injury killed Benazir: Hamid Nawaz

Sources, Dec 28: While Pakistan mourning over the assassination of thier former Prime Minister, there lies mystery after her death. On Dec 28, according to the sources, Pakistan's Interior Minister Hamid Nawaz said that benazir Bhutto did not die of bullet wounds.

Nawaz further added that Bhtto died from head injury and no bullet wounds were found. The doctors of Rawalpindi General Hospital have submitted a report to Pakistan government, which states that no post-mortem was conducted as there were no instructions given. “The report says she had head injuries – an irregular patch – and the X-ray doesn"t show any bullet in the head. So it was probably the shrapnel or any other thing has struck her in her said. That damaged her brain, causing it to ooze and her death. The report categorically ssyas there"s no wound

According to agency reports doctors at the Rawalpindi General Hospital tried desperately for 41 minutes to revive former prime minister Bhutto after she was shot but failed in their efforts.

Government sources say there will be an investigation to determine why no autopsy was conducted.

'Benazir's support needed for coming elections'

Islamabad, July 1: Asserting that the Pakistan Muslim League needed to fight the coming elections with the ''support'' of Benazir Bhutto, Punjab Chief Minister and senior party leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi however said he was ''unaware'' of the current status of the negotiations. ''I am unaware of any such talks,''' he said, but added that everything would become ''clear'' after the elections. ''We have to contest the elections with the support of Benazir.....
