Education conference in Jamea-tul-Hidaya

Jaipur, Dec 28 (UNI) Rajasthan Governor Shailendra Kumar Singh, Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma, Haryana Governor AR Kidwai, Union Chemical and Fertilizer Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and several dignitaries would participate in the two-day International Education Conference begining here tomorrow.

Organising Chairman and Jamea-tul-Hidaya Rector Maulana MFR Mujaddidi told reporters that scholars and experts from India and abroad would participate in the two-day meet which would focus its discussion on causes of educational backwardness of Muslims and draw strategy to improve the situation.

Three academic sessions on different topics would be held during the conference.

As many as 70 meritorious students from various states would also be presented with the Syed Educational Awards for their outstanding achievements in the 10th and 12th standard Board Examinations.

The conference is organsied jointly by Jamea-tul-Hidaya Jaipur, and the American Federation of Indian Muslims (AFIM).

Delhi Super League begins tomorrow

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) Ten top clubs, including defending champions Indian Air Force, will vie for top honours in the SAIL-ONGC Delhi Senior Division Football Super League starting tommorow. The ten teams, which made it to the Super League after preliminary rounds, have been divided into two groups of five in the tournament to be played in league-cum-knock-out basis at the Ambedkar Stadium.
