Dead body of Dawood associate handed over to Pak

Attari-Wagah, Dec 28 (UNI) The coffin containing the dead body of Noor Baksh alias Noora, an associate of underworld don, Dawood Ibraham was handed over to the Pakistan authorities here today.

The body was brought to the checkpost by the Uttar Pradesh police this morning. He was resident of Blauchistan province in Pakistan.

After completing the necessary formalities the Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the coffin to the Pakistan Rangers.

Noora was gunned down by the Special Task Force (STF) of the UP police while trying to flee from the judicial courts complex in Lucknow on October 14. He was brought to the courts from prison for the hearing of a case registered against him.

The cases registered against him in UP included possessing a forged passport and fleeing from police cutody.

Nepal's parliament passes a bill to declare Nepal a fedearl republic

Kathmandu, Dec 28 (UNI) Nepal's parliament has endorsed the constitutional amendment bill turning the Himalayan nation into a federal democratic republic, which will be implemented by the first meeting of constituent assembly. Russian killed, passengers looted in train in UP

Chitrakoot, Dec 28 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants shot dead a Russian women, grievously injuring another local woman, besides robbing passengers aboard the Varanasi-Mumbai Kamyani Express here this morning. The incident occurred near Manikpur railway station, where masked men barged into the AC-2 coach. The deceased was identified as Limoya Hidoja (47). When passengers resisted the robbery, the burglars opened fire and flew the coop with jewellery and cash worth Rs 50 lakh. The women received severe bullet wounds and were rushed.....
