14 trapped as slab of building collapses in Thane

Thane, Dec 28 (UNI) At least fourteen people were feared trapped when a slab of an under-construction building collapsed tonight in the Wagle Estate locality of the city, police said.

The slab of the building, in which a mini Mall was coming up, came down at 1945 hrs, trapping the labourers.

Four Fire tenders and police have rushed to the spot and a massive rescue and relief opeartion was underway, police said.

Six of the injured were rushed to a local hospital.

Thane, Dec 28 (UNI) At least two persons were killed and fifteen others injured when a slab of an under-construction 'Infotech Park' collapsed tonight in Wagle Estate locality of the city, police said.
