Youth commits suicide after killing one, wounding lady love

Jaunpur, Dec 27 (UNI) A youth allegedly committed suicide after critically wounding two persons, including his paramour, in Singramau area here last evening, police today said.

One of the wounded succumbed in hospital this evening.

The incident occurred last evening in Firozpur village, where Ashvani Shukla (23) shot at Mamta (20) of the same village.

Surya Narayan Mishra (50) also sustained bullet wounds, when he tried to intervene, police added.

Later, Ashvani shot himself.

The trio were rushed to hospital in a life threatening condition, where Ashvani succumbed on arrival. Mishra died today.

Meanwhile, Mamta was also reported to be critical.

Investigations were underway.
