Skulls found from postmortem room locked for 40 years

Giridih, Dec 27 (UNI) The administration today retrieved three human skulls and bones from a postmortem room, locked for the past 40 years, at the Sadar Hospital in this district of Jharkhand.

Civil Surgeon Anjani Kumar Mishra, at the Sadar Hospital, said the remains were found inside the dilapitated room which was locked for the past four decades.

Mr Mishra said an FIR would be lodged in this regard.

Meanwhile, the administration had swung into action to gather more details on the incident.

Srinagar, Dec 27 (UNI) A man was injured when a rifle of a constable went off accidentally while a traffic police official was injured in road accident in the valley today, official sources said. The service rifle of Constable Ishratul-Rehman, Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Zonal President Breng Kokernag, went off accidentally near Sarnal, causing injury to a civilian Mohammad Altaf Bhat.
