Nitish government incompetent in utilising funds: Lalu

Dehri-on-Sone, Dec 27 (UNI) Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad today alleged that the Nitish Kumar government was incompetent in utilising the funds allocated for various developmental schemes by the Central government.

Addressing a rally in favour of party candidate Ashok Kumar Kushwaha for Bihar's Bikramganj Lok Sabha by-poll, the RJD supremo said the state government had inefficient to make optimum utility of the funds provided by the union government following which the state was lacking in infrastructural growth.

The Railway Minister also expressed concern over the claim of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his cabinet colleagues of developing Bihar on the pattern of Singapore,Paris and London without visiting the world famous places He maintained that though the state was full of human resources there was shortage of infrastructural growth which worked as antithesis of development in Bihar.''If these things were rectified the result would have been quite different altogether,'' he stated.

TTD to develop information cenre in Bangalore

Tirumala, Dec 27 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will open a TTD Information Centre in Bangalore with an estimated cost of Rs 12 crore, TTD Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said today.
