JD(U) leaders involved in extortion and murder; RJD

Patna, Dec 27 (UNI) Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) today alleged that Janta Dal (United) MLA Gopal Mandal and several other leaders of ruling NDA were involved in murder and extortion.

RJD National General Secretary-cum Spokesman Shyam Rajak here said, the cases of abduction, murder, and extort money from contractors had increased manifold in the state during the ruling NDA regime.

He alleged,several under construction works had been delayed in the state following the threatening of the leaders from ruling NDA.

Though the efficiency of administration had been jeopardised by their leaders the ruling alliance hardly spare a chance to claim for a good-governence in the state, he stated.

Three Bangladeshis nabbed in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Dec 27 (UNI) Three Bangladeshi nationals, who were sentenced to imprisonment for a murder and later released on bail by a court there, were nabbed today by the police for living illegally in the city. Acting on a tip-off, city police raided Chandola Lake area and arrested Rehana Mulla, her son Dukhimulla and their associate Sikandar Shaikh, police said. Mumbai, Dec 28: The US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) delegation, led by chairman Sanjay Puri, will arrive in Bangalore on January 2, for high-level business and political meetings. Modi snubs media for projecting him as PM candidate

Ahmedabad, Dec 28:Snubbing the media for projecting him as the future prime ministerial candidate, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thrusday urged it not to bring his name in the list of probable candidates for the post and 'spoil' him. In a brief interaction with the sources at his office here, Mr Modi said in the past, the names of Jyoti Basu, Sharad Pawar and N Chandrababu Naidu were pitched by the media as the possible prime ministerial candidate.....
