Bangalore, Dec 27 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded at weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Minimum temperatures rose at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 10 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Mainly dry weather will prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka; North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Early morning fog/mist likely in some areas. Minimum temperature would be around 14 degree celsius.

Produce case diaries in murder, sexual exploitation case, J

Srinagar, Dec 27 (UNI) A local court has directed the Jammu and Kashmir police to submit case diaries in connection with the murder of a girl, who had named some people including a woman, allegedly involved in the sexual exploitation of innocent girls. Srinagar, Dec 27: A local court in the frontier district of Kupwara charge-sheeted four people including two non-Kashmiris, in the rape and murder of a minor girl in July this year, which evoked widespread protests across the valley. Villagers demand competent official at Tamenglong

Imphal, Dec 27 (UNI) The Village Authority Chairman Council (VACC) has urged Manipur Chief Secretary Jarnail Singh to depute competent officials at Tamenglong district to look after the development activities. VACC secretary Kaibonang Pamei said here today that some officials, posted at the Tamenglong district headquarters, were not attending office regularly, adding that the district administration was seriously affected. The council alleged that the absence of officials had resulted in failure to implement the NREG Scheme and payment of the wages.....
