Union Minister asks the state to popularise CGFT scheme

Bangalore, Dec 15(UNI) Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Mahavir Prasad today asked the State Governments to popularise the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust Scheme (CGFT) among financial institutions to help first generation entrepreneurs.

Addressing a review meeting with Karnataka government officials here, he said that the Central scheme was practically non-existent and weary few financial institutions are accepting applications in the State.

He said he would urge the Defence and Railway Ministries to increase the procurement of goods produced by micro industries from the present four per cent.

Mr Prasad said that the Centre has stressed the need for self employment generation for SC, ST, economically poor, farmers and women to make them economically independent through various schemes in the rural areas.

The government officials from Khadi and Village Industries Commission, National Small Industries Corporation, Coir Board and MSME.

Fast track enquiry into AGP MLA's attack

Special welfare measures taken for temple priests : CM

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said his government had initiated several measures to improve the economic condition of temple priests in the state. Speaker to decide on no-confidence against Koda on Dec 17

Ranchi, Dec 15 (UNI) The BJP-led Opposition in Jharkhand today sent a petition to Speaker Alamgir Alam seeking to move a no-confidence motion against UPA-backed Madhu Koda government. Mr Alam informed the House of the proposed motion by Oppostion leader Arjun Munda and four others. Altogether 33 members from the Opposition stood in favour of the motion, after which the Speaker said he would give his verdict on December 17. i am taken loan in cgft scheme ,I am utilising this facility from last 2 yers but now the Br managers asking for security for that & he is doing mental harasment of mine , I am not able to understand pl give me guidance
