DQE launches third technology centre

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) DQ Entertainment Ltd (DQE), an animation, visual effects, game art or full motion video productions company, today launched its third technology centre and seventh animation centre in the hi-tech city here.

Inaugurating the centre, IT Department Secretary Shailendra Kumar Joshi said the Centre would assist DQE in maintaining its growth at over 47 per cent CAGR and firmly establish it as leader in the entertainment industry.

The world-class facility at the technology centre would be used for producing or co-producing international IPs for feature films, DTH videos, TV productions, VFX, 3D art and in-game animation for next generation games platforms, including XBox 360, PSIII, Nintendo and more.

DQE CMD and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said the company would expand its global operations for the production and co-production of iconic brands and retain its position as leading animation game art and in-game animation producer and content provider, the release added.
