Workshop on cross-cultural management from Dec 15

Chennai, Dec 14 (UNI) Park Global Business School, a wing of Park group of institutions would organize a workshop on 'cross-cultural management' from tomorrow, to throw light on effective management of international cultural differences.

University of Missouri, St Louis, USA Professor and Park Global Business School Dean Allan Bird would conduct the workshop.

Park Global Business School Director Mahesh N Shankarmahesh said, ''Dr Allan Bird is a renowned expert on cross-cultural management and has worked on issues related to management of international assignments and cross-cultural negotiations.'' Entrepreneurs, middle and senior level Managers, independent consultants, academics and MNCs who cater to foreign clients would benefit from the workshop, he said.

The workshop would include four technical sessions and Dr Allan Bird would interact and work with the participants on an individual basis.

''Management varies on international platform and with many MNCs catering foreign clients, this workshop will pave way for professionals to learn and appreciate the cultural differences for effective cross-cultural management,'' Mr Mahesh said.

3 year-old thrown from third storey has providential escape
