Villager shot dead in clash

Shajapur, MP, Dec 14 (UNI) A villager was shot dead and seven others injured in a violent clash between two groups at district's Rampura village, police said today.

The villagers turned into hostile groups and attacked each other after heated arguments on Wednesday on the issue of harbouring criminals and anti-social elements from outside in the village.

Nirbhay Singh was killed in firing during the clash.

Due to prevailing tension police force was deployed there.

Mumbai, Dec 14: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)'s Sensex slid into the red below the 20K level in afternoon trade after posting decent gains in the mid-afternoon session owing to volatility on the bourses.
