Ranji Plate final on Jan 5-9 in Mumbai

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Cricket Club of India, Mumbai, will host the 2007-08 Ranji Plate Division final from January 5-9 next year, BCCI said today.

The semi-final between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will be held in New Delhi from December 25-29 while Nagpur will host the other semi-final between Railways and Kerala on the same dates, a Board release said today.

Foggy Friday and bitter cold Delhi

New Delhi, 14 Dec, 2007 : Dense fog and bitter cold enveloped the national capital early Friday morning, sending shivers down many an early morning walker and throwing rail and air traffic off gear. Remarkable growth in IT sector in Bengal: Minister

Kolkata, Dec 14: Information Technology (IT) Minister Debesh Das today said there has been remarkable growth in the software development in West Bengal's IT sector. ''It is mainly due to the immense development in the hardware industry and impetus that the manufacturing companies have received from the government,'' said the IT minister, while speaking at the inauguration of an IT exhibition here that was organised by Computer Association of India (COMPASS). Compass 2007 is a good attempt and the government.....
