President Pratibha Patil to visit Bihar

Patna, Dec 14 (UNI) President Pratibha Patil will arrive here on February 15 for a two-day visit to Bihar.

Raj Bhavan sources, quoting a communique from the Rastrapati Bhavan said, Ms Patil, on her arrival in Patna, would travel to Bodh Gaya to inaugurate the five-day All India inter-university cultural meet 'Tarang', organised by the Magadh University there. The formal communique giving her consent to inaugurate the fest, as requested by Governor R S Gavai, reached Raj Bhavan today, the sources said.

The sources informed that a visit to the Buddhist shrines at Bodh Gaya was not ruled out.

Left Front trying to forge a third alternative: Karat
