Precious metals decline on bullish advice

Mumbai, Dec 14: Both the precious metals registered a downward trend today with Silver sliding by Rs 390 per kg and Gold by Rs 155 per ten gm due to restricted buying on weak global advices, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,870 (19,260) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,180 (10,335) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,230 (10,385).
