Pondy CM leaves for Gujarat for campaign

Puducherry, Dec 14 (UNI) Chief Minister N Rangasamy today left for Gujarat to take part in electioneering for the final phase of polling for which the campaign would end at 1700 hrs today.

The Chief Minister boarded the 0830 hrs flight from Chennai.

Mr Rangasamy would undertake election campaign in areas mainly populated by Tamils who reside in Ahmedabad.

WB to give more land to Wipro, Infosys for expansion

Kolkata, Dec 14: The West Bengal government will soon provide additional land to software firms Infosys and Wipro for expanding their facilities, the state's minister for information technology Debesh Das said on Thursday. Replying to questions in the assembly, he said that land required by Wipro and Infosys could not be given at Rajarhat as demanded, since no land was available there.Wipro was also not willing to pay the land price as demanded by the government, he said, adding problems of both.....
