Media can publish Lokayukta reports: Balasubramanyam

Madikeri, Karnataka, Dec 14(UNI) Karnataka Lokayukta Director (Health) Dr R Balasubramanyam has said that delay in giving more power to Lokayukta has prevented it from taking action against corrupt IAS and IFS officers.

Addressing 'Spandana' programme organised by Journalists Association, Virajpet yesterday, he said that the Bill passed by previous Kumaraswamy government to accord more power to Lokayukta is pending before the Governor. "The delay in empowering Lokayukta is holding it back from taking action against corrupt officials including IAS and IFS officers".
