GRD Business School summons AD Conclave

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) ''Horizon'', a CEO's conclave organised by the GRD School of Commerce and International Business (GRDSCIB) was addressed by lumanaries from the corporate world like Dr J J Irani, Meenakshi Madhvan, K V Sridhar, Jagdeep Kapoor, R Sridhar and Alvin Saldhana, here today.

The speakers elaborated on the new trends in the industry and business ethics. Other issues covered by the speakers included the role of media and marketing. Mr Jagdeep Kapoor spoke on brand management in the Indian context while Mr R Sridhar spoke on the role of imagination and break-through ideas that make business sense.

Speaking to newspersons here, Dr K K Ramachandran Director GRDSCIB said, ''The conclave aims to discuss some of the pressing concerns facing commerce and business in the new global scenerio which is changing every minute. Widely respected veterens of the ad world have brought their invaluable insights to bear upon business ethics today. Goa becomes the first state with disaster management plan: CM

Bihar may receive Rs 800 crores credit from World Bank

Patna, Dec 14 (UNI) The World Bank is likely to extend a credit facilty of Rs 800 crores to the Bihar government by March 2008 for improvement of its sagging infrastructure, Deputy Chief Minister- cum-Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi informed today. Rebels on the rampage in Assam;BJP leader killed,AGP MLA injured

Guwahati, Dec 14 (UNI) In continuing violence in Assam militants todat gunned down a BJP leader and critically wounded an AGP MLA. Unidentified insurgents killed veteran BJP leader Munindra Singh Laskar at his Rangia residence last night.
