CR to operate mega block on Sunday

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) The Central Railway will operate a mega block on the up and down Harbour line between Chuna Bhatti and Masjid Staions and and Wadala Road and Mahim Stations from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs to carry out maintenance works.

The mega block will also be effective on up fast line between Kalyan and Thane stations from 1030hrs to 1600 hrs.

Due to this, harbour line services will be suspended between Bandra/Andheri and Mumbai CST. Services to Belapur, Vashi and Mankhurd will run via main line between Kurla and Mumbai CST during this period.

Up fast line services leaving Kalyan will be diverted on Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations during the block period and will halt at all stations between Kalyan and Thane.

PHF to release players for PHL in India

Lahore, Dec 14 (UNI) Reciprocating to India's decision of sending their top players for next year's Super Hockey League (SHL), to be held here, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), has agreed to release eight of their leading players for India's Premier Hockey League (PHL). Khalid Mehmood, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary, however, said the decision was taken after some reluctance as there were doubts that India might not be able to send their players for Pakistan's SHL which the PHF is.....

Australian Pharma co. to get Terradata

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) Australian Pharmaceutical Industries' (API) new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) will implement a Teradata solution and Informatica's integration software for information delivery to support its pharmaceutical wholesale business division. Dharampur Youth Congress President resigns

Shimla, Dec 14: Dharampur Youth Congress President Jitender Singh Jamwal along with seven other office bearers and party activists in Chopal have resigned from the Congress, alleging wrong distribution of tickets. Mr Jamwal said he along with seven other office bearers besides other party activists have resigned from the party, which had fielded former SFI state president Chandershekhar from the constituency. They have sent in their resignations to the state Youth Congress president and were now campaigning in favour of the party.....
