BSP flays manifestoes of BJP and Congress

Shimla, Dec 14 (UNI) Accusing both the BJP and the Congress for not having any concrete policy to tackle the problem of unemployment, unevenness and corruption in Himachal Pradesh, the BSP today said that the manifestos of these parties are just repletion of their thirty years back promises.

Addressing newsmen here today, party's spokesperson S.K. Aalok said that in the thirty years during their tenures both parties collectively released seventeen manifestos.

''But it's shameful that problems included in the manifestos of these parties are same,'' he said.

Corruption, unemployment, uneven development, anti weaker section and anti OBC policies, heavy debt on state exchequer, worst health facilities, non-directional educational policies, privatization of health and education, no permanent industrial and unemployment policy are the work out of thirty year tenure of BJP and Congress, he alleged.

Exporters for further increase in duty drawback rates

Tirupur, Dec 14 (UNI) Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) today urged Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram to increase duty drawback rates by another three per cent to sustain in the global market and make the optimum utilisation of the exporting units.
