Beacon driver killed, five injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 14 (UNI) A driver of Beacon project died and five others were injured in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.

They said a driver identified as Roshan Lal was found dead in his room at Lawaypora camp under suspicious circumstances.

Police have registered a case and started investigation, they added.

In another incident, five people, travelling in a car were injured when a tipper hit the car at Kralhar in Baramulla district.

The injured were hospitalised.

Official sources today said the girl Shameema, consumed some poisonous substance at her house at Khumriyal. She was rushed to a hospital where she died. Bengali labourer among 2 killed and 5 injured in Kashmir

Srinagar , Nov 29 (UNI) Two people were killed and five others injured while two houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said. A Bengali labourer Abdul Salam, son of Sirajuddin, resident of West Bengal died while lifting wood logs in Plywood Factory at Gulzarpora Awantipora.
