Action against police officers not submitting service arms

Patna, Dec 14 (UNI) The Bihar government today announced to take action against the Indian Police Service (IPS) officers who had failed to submit their service revolvers either after their transfer or retirement.

Replying to a short notice question of RJD's Abdul Bari Siddiqui in the state Assembly, Energy Minister Vijendra Prasad Yadav admitted that three retired IPS officers, a similar number of those on central deputation and three others who joined Jharkhand after reorganisation of the state, had failed to submit their service revolvers. The service firearms of one of the IPS officers, who died, was also not submitted, he added.

Mr Yadav informed the House that such cases were being probed and suitable action would be initiated against the guilty.

To another matter raised by Mr Ramchandra Purvey(RJD) regarding the alleged humiliation of the security guards of the leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Rabri Devi by the Senior Police Superintendent, Mr Yadav assured the House of action against the guilty person after an inquiry into the incident.

Mizoram spends Rs 350 lakh a year for teachers' training

Aizawl, Dec 14 (UNI) The Mizoram government spends Rs 350 lakhs a year for training its teachers under the University of Cambridge International Examination to impart quality education, said education minister R Lalthangliana. Kotak Realty Fund to invest Rs 250 cr in IVR Developers

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Country's leading infrastructure firm IVR Prime Urban Developers Ltd today said it has received investment commitments of Rs 250 crores from Kotak India Realty Fund Ltd. ''More realty funds are also inclined to join hands with IVR Prime,'' the company said in a statement. Nilkamal sells realty arm for Rs 180 cr to Blue Mountains

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Nilkamal Ltd, along with Bhoomi Realty India Pvt Ltd today said it will sell its shares in Nilkamal Bhoomi Developers Pvt Ltd for a total consideration of Rs 180 crores to India Blue Mountains Ltd (IBML).
