Abhishek to officiate in Beijing Olympics

Kolkata, Dec 14 (UNI) City boy Abhishek Mukherjee will have a presence in the Beijing Olympics tennis as umpire in the quadreinnial mega event.

Talking to UNI, Mukherjee said, '' It is a great honour. The papers will be on their way. '' He also informed that he was heading to Australia towards the end of this month to officiate in Hoffman Cup, Sydney International Cup, followed by Australian Open.

He had already officiated in Wimbledon, besides a host of satellite and masters tourneys.

Lahore, Dec 14 (UNI) Pakistan coach Geoff Lawson today drew flake from PCB chief Nasim Ashraf who said the Australian was to be held responsible for Test and ODI series loss to arch rivals India.
