Srinagar, Dec 14: The Jammu and Kashmir government has provided financial assistance to set up 15739 Income Generating (IG) units in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, an official spokesman said today.
He said under the Credit Action Plan, 15739 income generating units with a financial assistance of Rs 233 crore have been set up in the district during the first six months of current fiscal.
Of these, he said, 9602 units have been established under priority sector and 6137 units under non-priority sector.
